Wildcast

http://www.wildcast.net/

Would you like to go on an African safari? Here's your chance! Wildcast is an interactive channel broadcast to you over the Internet, directly from the wilds of Africa. Here the award-winning filmmaker, Kim Wolhuter is creating his latest masterpiece. This site began in 2000, and if you scroll down to the archives, you can jump to 2007 where he is filming elephants drinking "liquid gold." You could spend days at this blog, and as a matter of fact, I added this site to my daily feeds so I can keep track of the adventure.

What a lucky find this one is!

Schreiner's Media Landscape

http://schreinervideo.blogspot.com/2007/08/good-environmental-news.html

Schreiner's blog offers links to articles on the web about the environment. I read one article about a newly extinct mammal, and the title had an offensive word in it. I considered this, and decided the excellent content of the story out-weighed the title offense. This blog also offers photography and videos produced by the blogger. If you are a discriminating reader, you will find lots of interest here.

Wild Bird Feeding Blog

I can't wait for all of you to check out this blog! The photos this blogger has captured are extreme! And this guy is funny! He'll actually have you laughing when you read about a math problem he had to solve. And then he'll relate that problem to a crow's problem. Go Figure.

Be sure to check this out.

Living the Scientific Life

Sorry, dropped this site from our list. I've kept an eye on it, and decided it wasn't as good as I thought.

Albert 2.0

http://journeybystarlight.blogspot.com/

This is a story. Albert Einstein comes back as Albert 2.0 and blogs about his journey through space. As he travels, he explains everything from atoms to blackholes.

Check out this blog, it's awesome!

Introduction

This site is dedicated to the sharing of great stuff between students on the Extreme Team. When any of you find a good website to share, then write and tell us about it. When you see something that makes you think, "Hey! So and So would love this, and Mrs. Grutter will be glad I found it" then post it. These sites might be about science, or they might be about a good book to recommend.
You might want to share other things too. Perhaps you're an author, and you'd like us to read your story. Or you like to draw-you could scan your work and include it.
Just make sure you don't put anything here that would offend your parents, your teachers, your principal or your friends. If you're not sure, ask an adult.
Let's have fun!
